BIOGRAPHY
Coming from the country, I’ve always had art and nature in my life. I am sensitive to the beauty and the fragility of biodiversity which nowadays, together with my son, my family, and people I meet through my work, I make it my duty to preserve. As an occupational therapist in the mental health section and a naturopath, I consider the degree of our well-being to be related to our connectedness with the Earth and with All Life.
In the stories I tell and in various other projects, art and creativity are a means of coming back to myself, enabling me to express who I am and what I love.
I enjoy seeing the world in many nuances of colour, through painting, writing, and storytelling. I enjoy giving concrete form to my values and my goals for the future through an action or art work, thereby participating in a new world of sharing and mutual aid. My gratitude goes to the Re-Visionary Art Collective.
Artistic approach
I paint whatever comes at the time I feel like painting! The mediums I use vary, as I enjoy experimenting. When writing, I more and more pay attention to the beauty of certain words, for I’ve noticed how words touch me and bring wholeness to a work. Maybe that comes from my competence as a young social storyteller! I never would have thought I’d come to enjoy listening to stories and retelling those that move me as much as I do now.
Whether it be in painting, in writing, or in oratory arts, it is up to us to show what we desire for today and for tomorrow.
